What to expect after you sign — your first month

Your first month, step by step

Onboarding a new property typically takes 2-3 weeks from contract signing to the listings going live, with the first month wrapping up with your initial payout statement. Here is what to expect along the way.

Day 0 — Contract signed: You receive the signed PDF contract and a welcome email with the link to your owner cockpit. Save the link — this is where you will see your calendar, reservations, and payouts going forward.

Day 1-2 — Property intake: A RENTUJEMY coordinator schedules a 30-45 minute intake call. You walk us through the apartment, either in person or over video. We collect photos, access details, the house manual, special notes (quirky appliances, building rules, neighbour considerations), and any existing amenity inventory.

Day 3-5 — Photography (if applicable): If your existing photos don't meet our listing standard, we book a professional photographer. Shoots usually take a single day, and final retouched photos are delivered within 5 working days.

Day 5-10 — Listing creation: We write your listings in Polish and English (and local languages for Dubai), set initial pricing based on dynamic-pricing data for your area, and submit the property to the channels we operate — Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, RENTUJEMY.COM, and our channel manager.

Day 10-14 — Activation: Listings go live as each channel approves them. Airbnb is usually instant. Booking.com takes 3-5 business days for verification. Other channels sit in between. You will see the live status in your owner cockpit as each channel turns on.

Day 14-30 — First bookings: Initial bookings start to arrive. How fast the calendar fills depends on city and lead time — central Warsaw apartments often see same-day or next-day bookings, while mountain apartments more typically book 3-4 weeks ahead. Either way, you will receive notifications as reservations come in.

End of month — First payout statement: At month-end we generate your first payout statement covering the period in your owner cockpit. Payment lands by the 15th of the following month.

💡Set your owner-cockpit notifications in the first week so you get a heads-up for each first booking.

Expectations for the first 2-3 weeks of bookings

If your apartment hasn't been live on the major platforms before, expect bookings to start slower than they will run a month or two later. Channels weight new listings down until they see trust signals — good ratings, the first reviews, a fast response rate. After roughly 5 reviews this normalises and your apartment competes with established listings on equal footing.

ℹ️If your apartment hasn't been live before, expect lower bookings in the first 2-3 weeks while platforms build trust signals (rating, reviews, response rate). After ~5 reviews this normalises.

Who to contact during onboarding

Your assigned coordinator is your single point of contact through the first month. Their details are in your welcome email. After onboarding completes, day-to-day operations move to our standard support channels — but for anything related to the initial setup, go straight to your coordinator.
